Mejhiren's Dance History Mejhiren has always loved to dance (usually in an interpretive style to radio tunes) but did not formally study the subject till February 2003, when she began taking lessons from Ashiya of Lincoln, NE. Before long the class had become a troupe, the Athenian Dancers, and were performing monthly at The Parthenon Greek Grill and Taverna in Lincoln. Mejhiren left the Athenian Dancers in April 2004 and has been teaching on her own since June 2004.

Gigs! Mejhiren and student Dani appeared on Nebraska's The Metro Show as the featured act twice weekly through the month of August!!! This particular run of the show was quite popular and we've heard plenty of nice things - so thank you!!! Mejhiren's next solo performance is likely to be at the Tribal Dreams Festival in Lincoln this November. Stay tuned for more info!
