Formerly a member of the Athenian Dancers (the regular performers at Lincoln, Nebraska's famous Parthenon restaurant), Mejhiren is a student and freelance performer of cabaret-style bellydance.

And if that weren't exciting enough - Mejhiren and her sister comprise a little "vocal harmony group" - its name is an abbreviation of "Sisters Of Jurchen (soju) Candace & Elisabeth (candelise)". Nebraska-based persons can, through the month of February, catch their interview and performance on The Metro Show (local access cable; Mondays and Fridays at 8pm on Channel 13 for Lincolnites)!
